Since 1941, the United States celebrate Thanksgiving Day on the fourth Thursday of November. This year’s the feast takes place on 24 November. Thanksgiving Day officially has become a national holiday in the XVIII century, during the reign of George Washington.
Each family has its own traditions, and most people associate this holiday with a huge turkey baked in the oven, a solemn parade and the ability to take a break from everyday work. But apart from this, during the festive meal, we utter words of thanksgiving for all the good things that have happened in life this year. Let’s be grateful not only on this day, but always!
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
